Well, technically all draws did miss since the straights weren't drawing at any point, they hit already OTF

But I think villain can have many better hands, straights, 2 pair, sets, Qx.. If you don't have info that villain is calling way too much, maybe betting 3 streets with so bit bet sizes is too much. River raises from passive fish are always nuts, you can make an exploitative fold even though you get good price.

Agree that after the river raise we can fold. River raises are mostly true strong.

Lol. This is the standard classical way of playing suited connectors. At least until about 10-15 years ago. Maybe you ran into an old-timer, and not necessarily a fish. I think it is still a viable play in EP full ring. You have the choice between folding and calling with these hands in EP. Limping first in (EP) with them is maybe profitable at a reasonably passive table. (You can't possibly call a 3-bet. Hence don't raise with them. Too many opponents left to speak.)

At any rate, actual fish aren't hesitating to do it. (They'd do it short-handed too.) Don't underestimate villain's range once you get to the river, and have utter respect for that flop if villain is an old-timer. He can very well have every hand the board allows him to have that beats you, but he'll never have K♥:8♠: that actual fish might have. Don't fire that river bet against such a villain. Even a turn check-back might be advisable in this case.
