I'd not pop it up preflop. You are a favorite versus his range to win the pot, but that is immaterial. He is the money favorite.
A sound full-ring player that has a limping range (leave aside whether this is wise) doesn't ever intend to fold to an ordinary raise, especially not from one of the blinds. Only pop it up if you think you can play A9o very well post-flop OOP against a player whose hand is a mystery. That is, only pop it up if you are god. Now you are playing a potentially big pot. This doesn't bode well.
