Bluffing river when flush completes on turn and opponent check behind

The river does not change anything.
I think we can xr on flop... but not so sure...

He checks behind the turn when the 3rd spade so he might be scary to be against a flush and that is what I am trying to rep when I bet river.

The bluff on the river will work very rarely in my opinion, first of all should be bigger as it would be with your nutted hands. I think you could raise flop and pot turn but it depends from his bet vs missed on the flop. If he is bluffing there as well then is prefectly fine. Also you should consider what Qx he is betting there, if he would bet a J; in my opinion if he is betting vs your missed cb enough we could raise and play some turns

Also i really dont like that call on the flop. I make those kind of calls too and then i get annoyed that my red line goes down lol. Thats why also ATo can be annoying to be played oop.

Can we xr with GS+BDFD?

I guess at higher levels and doing so with the ace blocker being prepared to shove any turns might work.
It is some kind of high variance move, personally I prefer to stay away from those
In my case that probably be burning money.
Here I think I played the river very bad, check folding it would have been much better.

maybe i was wrong saying that calling flop is bad, X/C is fine, also opp X back on turn is super bad as he is giving a hand like ours and many other that XC flop a free river; that river is a check fold. But i still think we can xr with GS+BDFD if opp is betting decent amount vs missed.

the river bluff is bad because is very inconsistent. If you would take passive line with nut flush draw then you would X/R river not leading bit more then half pot.

Im curious what did he call with? is mostly to understand what is he betting OTF, and checking turn. That can be a usefull thing to know against him in the future

But I agree with what you said before, the call on the flop is bad it is those kind of spot that looks close to a call that I end up calling and at the end of the day this is what makes the difference between slightly winning and big winners.

then maybe against a player like this having GS+BDFD in X/R range is suicide, if he X back turn because of possible flush means he is probably X back all of his jacks PPs and most of his queens too otf, i immagine, or maybe bet smaller. (i could be wrong)
