Pacific $5.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

Hero (SB): $5.53
BB: $5.00
UTG: $10.81
MP: $5.00
CO: $4.25 - VPIP: 34, PFR: 15, 3B: 6, AF: 1.2, Hands: 139
BTN: $5.53

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is SB with J  J :club:
2 folds, CO raises to $0.20, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.18, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.45) J :spade: T  K :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.22, Hero calls $0.22

Turn: ($0.89) 7 :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.89, Hero calls $0.89

River: ($2.67) 4 :club: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.11, CO raises to $2.94, Hero folds

On the flop: I couldn't raise villain here. I would isolate myself only vs better hands with 1 set of TT. Villain is pretty passive when looking to his stats.
Turn was a call for sure.
River I couldn't call off a big bet but I also just couldn't give up so easily. He bets big OTT and he has either value or thinks he has value and has 2p or maybe a set of TT. I decided to bet small and fold vs a raise.

Would you have played it differently and how?

I think pre flop and turn are standard. Not sure if raising the flop would be ok. You would isolate yourself vs a tight range but could he go broke with 2pair hands and AK too? Maybe not so xc is probably ok.
OTR I can agree with your reasoning. You are blockbetting. And when he raises that he looks veery strong.

3bet preflop. On the flop better raise vs. the calling station - do you think KQ, AA, JQ, TT are folding (you count the combos)

I agree with VaskataBuci and nitrol raise OTF i think calling station can call with many worse hands.

Also like 3b pre more - you wanna isolate yourself with the fish and you miss value by only calling.
As played raise the flop he'll call you with lots of worse hands.

I agree. Villian looks fishy, and we all know that no fish can fold a Q here. You need to build a pot and when he bets half pot, you're not getting enough value out of you're hand vs his range. Also checking the turn isn't good either, you're relying on a fish to bet on a drawy board.

Thanks guys :) I also agree that I'd better 3bet this hand pre. I also checked the ranges from w34z3l. He also says that you 3bet JJ on SB vs CO. I will make a note of it :f_thumbsup:

Cheers,
