I don't play NL 2 much any more, at higher, I would generally bet the turn also, but here I decided to see if villain "would bluff at it"

PokerStars - $0.02 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: $4.96 (29.17/20.83/9.09/25 (V/P/3/H)
Hero (SB): $2.25
BB: $2.00 (Hands: 1)
UTG: $2.03 (25.00/21.88/6.67/32 (V/P/3/H)
MP: $2.37 (0.00/0.00/0.00/7 (V/P/3/H)
CO: $2.27 (Hands: 2)

Hero posts SB $0.01, BB posts BB $0.02

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.03) Hero has A♥:A♦:

UTG raises to $0.06, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.18, fold, UTG calls $0.12

Flop: ($0.38, 2 players) J♦:7♥:5♠:
Hero bets $0.20, UTG calls $0.20
pretty standard for an overpair, I think

Turn: ($0.78, 2 players) J♥:
Hero checks, UTG bets $0.41, Hero calls $0.41
This is a 3-Bet pot, so JJ, 77 and 66 are all in his range, I have blockers to AJ and Jx isn't likely to call a 3Bet.
I intended to call this down...

River: ($1.60, 2 players) 6♥:
Hero checks, UTG bets $1.24 and is all-in, Hero ???
but didn't expect a shove. This is barely more than 3/4 pot though.

What say you?

Bet turn 1/2 pot and river push. He has some Jx suited, but should have QQ, also TT might call you down since the board pairs. This is NL2, he might have all sorts of what he thinks are good bluff catchers.

I would not like to call this one down indeed. Villain shoves for a reason and at the micros, people rarely bluff, especially not OTR. If it was a thinking player I also wouldn't expect him to shove since you still have some Jx in your range that would 3bet as a bluff. I think I can lay down this hand.

You could bet the turn but I actually like your reasoning why you checked. Because it is 3bet pot and you have Ah you can take some flush draws out of his range too.

OTR I believe it can be called. I checked with snowie and it would bet the turn but the difference is not big. And as played it would call OTR.

Agree'd.
Also, bet a lil bigger on the flop.
