OTT I think it is pretty clear there is nothing you can do.
You have to win this about 40% to break even. With a set you have 20% equity. So if I understand correctly this means that villain must be bluffing here another 20%. And it will be break even only if we assume that his bluffs never beat your set. But if he bluffs with hands that have one diamond he has some equity too. Which means he must be bluffing a lot more.

My two cents
To get trapped by our own traps happen more often than we want but as you may know already, a diamond (not the 7) has 16% to hit the board at the turn, the same if he's chasing a OESD with 9T, so I agree with La55i and I'd pushed all in on this one.
