Hi guys!

What do you think about raise OTT?
I put him in a draw or weakpair because this i raise for value and protection.
What do you think About this raise with TPTK? Is good?

With a regular bet size, I'd say "The turn raise is horrible. It is not for value. You "protect" versus some holdings, but cost yourself money against nuts and air."

With this min-bet thing, I'd treat it as a check and raise as you did (or slightly bigger).

Interesting spot. I'd probably call OTT since you will isolate yourself vs better hands and this person isn't going to fold very often. Were you raising for value (what hands you target) or as a bluff?

Did you notice the bet size?

Because villain donks ridiculously small OTT I think raising is fine. He might do this with nuts but he also could do this with some mid strength hands that don't want to call a regular size bet OTT. Calling seems reasonable too.

Well, vs this small donk we can raise. And raise bigger.

Just calling doesn't achieve much. Its only virtue is when we are behind - we might get away with less than a normal bet, but that is scarred poker, and not certain to save us anything. Even though it is small, it is enough to juice up the pot so that pot odds compel us to make calls of relatively large bets (in absolute terms, not percentages) on the river. Failing to raise will justify their strategy the times (which is the most of the time) they have a weak but callable hand or a draw.
