My hand is good enough to call 3 streets?
i think he can have A7s, K7s, 22, 77, 88, TT+
or
Busted flush draws, maybe he's betting overcards like AK and hit K OTR

This is a tough spot. 82/28 81.5bb (fish & shortstack) you need 24% equity to call profitably.

Board: 7♦2♦7♥ 6♣ K♠
       Equity   Win  Tie
Hero     63.59%  63.41%   0.17% { 9d9s }
Villain  36.41%  36.24%   0.17% { 55+, A2s+, K5s+, Q7s+, J8s+, T8s+, 98s, A7o+, K9o+, Q9o+, J9o+ }

I'd say you can call, there are some busted flush draws on his range and in my experience fishes are prone to bet hard, check/raise and other whacky stuff when they got the nuts.

Wait a minute, what is that range? Would villain really 3 barrel with Q9o? That is total air.

He can have all the nutty hands: A7s, K7s, 22, 77, 88, TT+
And let's also agree that he can have barreled AK and KQ and now has hit a top pair.
Only hands we beat are some draws that missed. The board is paired and I feel villain should very often stop betting his draws OTT.
I'm not sure if he has that many air hands here.

I also was in a similar spot yesterday and I was thinking to myself: Is this hand strong enough to call 3 streets of value?
What do you think? Given the reasoning above

He opens so many hands... don't let him see a flop for 2bb

There's no way I'm trying to figure out what a 80% VPIP guy is holding. Since he bets so small, I'll just pay the fee and see his cards.

His preflop raise is normal over the sample, so both calling and raising seem kosher.

That's how you build up a database! Lol

No, that's how I save time while still making decent decisions.

Have a look at your own analysis:

You come out as a 63% favorite! Bells should be ringing. When you are bet into thrice, your are not a favorite with an underpair.

Putting a truly unpredictable opponent on a hand is senseless.

I agree that it is quite senseless to try to figure out how unpredictable player plays. If we could do that he wouldn't be unpredictable :)
He might do stupid stuff but he probably doesn't hate money. He has got all the good hands in his range but I don't think he will barrel something like J9o.

I'll just make a guess and say that the range above has at least 150 combos of air that shouldn't be there.

I go even further. I look at my hand, and realize I am underrepresented (it is after all an overpair) and fairly high up in my range. It is cheap, so I call. Call it super-primitive GTO if you wish. As a side note, true GTO doesn't care one bit about the opponents holding.

I prefer calling and making a note.
It is cheap and the info will be useful.

I was agreeing with you. And it was a harmless joke. Sorry if it got misunderstood.
My analysis do suck and thanks for the feedback; only that way I can get better.
