well, pre flop he can have a wide range on the bu, he seems to be very solid for nl100. mid-high sc, AQ, KQs, 99+

on the flop its hard to say. with his af of 8 he seems to be very aggr (flop af would be interesting). i dont think he necessarily needs to be polarised here. maybe he raises his entire range her: T9, TT, QTs, Jx, QQ+, AQo, KQ, low-mid sc., low pockets

but since we often dont hit this flop as 3better he might elect to move; i think vs this opponent i sometimes push the flop, but for me its important to see some hands from him playing a flop (esp. in 3bet pots) before stacking off here.

without history its probably a fold, but i dont like it because i feel moved :(

Sounds about right to me, if he is bluffing I think he's got a good risk reward ratio.

he needs about 50% FE here which he easily has against my 3betting range

what hands you would shove here on the flop?

his flop AF is 9.3 btw

I searched the guy on google

Would any one know howto calculate the EV of his play if it were a bluff?

assuming my 3betting range is something like this

22+,A2s+,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,76s,65s,54s,43s,32s,AJo+ 14.9%

and I continue with this range on the flop (3.8%)

TT+,AJs,JTs,AJo

why did you request time before you 3 bet pre flop,i take that as low pocket any ace and call then push flop as well, mind you with an 8 AF he could bet anything on flop in which case you may have been ahead, tough decision. :)

Without any further informations I don't expect this guy to make moves all that often. Easy fold vs the raise.

If he does bluff frequently in this spot, well, stop 3betting him light OOP.

You don't need to calculate the EV of his bluff, there. It's logical, that it's +EV if you 3bet light but fold the biggest part of your range vs this raise.

he bets 43$ into 41.5$ pot
including the rake, he needs you to fold in approx 42% of the time

If you decide to continue with 3.8% that stands for ~78% FE.

plus he will suck out some % of the time from 22% when you call.
