Do the merits of getting it in and potentially sometimes folding out 33/JT or getting it in vs occasional weaker draws outweigh the benefits of calling and getting away on pairing cards and sometimes getting folds on A/9?

Anything I'm missing in this hand? Kind of lost in this spot, not sure how to tackle it.

SB: $32.74 (327.4 bb)
BB: $12.48 (124.8 bb)
UTG: $12.02 (120.2 bb)
MP: $18.18 (181.8 bb)
CO: $10 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $56.42 (564.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 9♣: K♥: 8♣: A♥:
UTG raises to $0.30, MP calls $0.30, CO folds, Hero calls $0.30, SB folds, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($1.25) 3♥: J♦: T♥: (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero bets $0.80, BB raises to $3.60, 2 folds, Hero raises to $12, BB raises to $12.18 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.18

Turn: ($25.61) 9♦: (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($25.61) 6♠: (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$25.61 pot ($1.09 rake)
Final Board: 3♥: J♦: T♥: 9♦: 6♠:
BB showed J♥: J♠: 2♠: T♣: and won $24.52 ($12.04 net)
UTG mucked and lost (-$0.30 net)
MP mucked and lost (-$0.30 net)
Hero showed 9♣: K♥: 8♣: A♥: and lost (-$12.48 net)

As PLO fish, I would play the hand the same way with our flush and straight draws for 15 outs in total if I checked it well. It would be nice to see what a PLO player thinks about his hand.

Cheers,

I'm plo10 player so might advice might not be 100% correct, but I'd just call. You're in position, you know his range exactly, top2p/sets and the reasons you mentioned, getting away when turn pairs, representing some other cards on later streets etc. As I watch plo vids on how mid stakes players play everybody is pointing out that you should fastplay when out of position but in position don't fear to just call and play some poker, it's more profitable.

Yes, calling is my go to play here. On this exact turn, for example, he might check and you can either semi bluff bet/call or take your free river.
