I'm unsure how to handle such spot, mw. We clearly can't fold flop, but is it better to just call or to try to force out other players' equity? I went for a raise but not to pot. This seems the worst of all options - I'm not generating enough feq (still pricing in some hands) but also getting myself quite potstuck.

I also think these spots are difficult. But depending on opponent, his bet calling range will probably be a straightdraw (of various strengths) the problem is you don't know which one maybe the higher ones are more likely but still pretty much every card between 7 and A that doesn't pair the board puts a potential hand completing straight or otherwise it might slow down action even if no-one hits it. I personally would hate to get re-raised in these spots (will be wraps and sets only against which you have bad equity), and your 2 pair is no set you know and even a set here you will be in so many difficult spots on turn and river. I think I would call but not sure really. I would not raise at least. Difficult spot here for sure. Would be interested what others have to say about it.

Pre : PPT ranks this hand in the 23rd percentile so it looks like a marginally profitable open from the CO. Often I open 2.5x f

Flop : We flop top two. We like basically slightly less than half the deck on the turn (we dislike any card that completes a straight, six ranks, and dislike sixes). Given that the BB led out in a lower spr situation between him and I, and we have the opportunity to face the field with two cold I am taking that opportunity. I would probably just raise pot yes but I don't see anything necessarily inferior about a 75% pot sizing. Perhaps min raise is reasonable as well. One thing I like to think about when choosing raise or bet sizing is the situation I will be in on the next street. So once you pot it on the flop you are pretty much committed even on bad cards. So if you say min-raised then stack depths on the turn would be such that you can fold your hand if a bad card comes. This is especially the case when you are OOP and betting. But in this example you have the opportunity to face your opponents with two bets, so I am probably just going to pot raise for maximum protection and live with being pot stuck.

Given that there is a dry side pot I like your turn fold.
