PokerStrategist Mastermind Challenge - Question 1

We have a shuffled deck of cards, and, without looking, we want to take 2 cards of the same colour.

How many cards will we need to take to assure that we have at least 2 of the same colour?

The answer is 3. You have 2 colors so the third card will match either the first color or the second color 100% of the time.

I've been playing with a 4 color deck for so long, I forgot most decks have only 2 colors. lol Was wondering why so many people were saying 3.

Three, unless you by "color" actually mean "suit", and unless you use a four-color deck, in which case the answer is five (whether or not color means suit).
