NL 2-7 single draw tournament -- did I do the right thing here?

Yeah, I quadrupled, and picked up a bounty, but...
:diamond:   Should I have raised vs the limp and overlimp -- or is the shove correct? Against the HJ & BTN I intended to pat the 9,7 low
:diamond:  Once the crowd enterred the fray, I broke the 9 -- was this the correct play?

Thanks!

I’m not sure if you have any reads on all players, but I think you played it fine pre-draw. Post-draw it’s nasty you get a multi way all-inn and I expect you need to draw 1 to have a chance to win. It’s weird enough that the other players are drawing 2 cards in the end.

Without reads this is terrible, but probably this is not the case. I understand your logic, but if he have a good hand, only the deuce can save you. If the BB is unknown, then this is bad. Obv good play, If you don't expect 9x + from him.

Hi insomnia666,
"Terrible" might be too strong -- vs a min raise and a call, I expected folds, and this was my second or third hand -- so I'm unknown as well.
I never expected even one call from someone drawing 2 and certainly not 3 such calls.
I'm ahead of anyone drawing 1.

After looking over this, I think that the shove was correct, but that I should have stood. Playing the odds, patting is correct.
However, in that case, I would have lost.

Sorry, if I insult you. I don't mean it, my English is very bad obv. I mean you must have position and option to draw, if it is necessary. Without reads...This players are very bad , but we don't know that before the shove. The hand is call or fold. Imo...I will throw the 9 and I will have very easy decision. Depending on the action and my hand strenght.
Your play is not wrong at all (yes, terrible is too strong :) ), but PFR can have better hand allready, also if they have good 4 cards hands, your equity is not high. I mean not high enough. 70% , something like that. But 0% obv vs 8x and 96x predraw. Even if they fold a lot, 0% equity can't be enough . Do you agree with that? Weird game.. But I prefer to have an option in those spots.

We are playing in the SB and then we playing out of position the hand. That would make it with drawing a lot easier if we act as last. Now we act first and then it’s difficult to know where you at in a 4 way all in and shoving with 9 low is pretty standard with only a raise and a call in front of you.

Imo his stack is too big. Maybe this is the best play for $1. I just can't do that.

Hi insomnia666,
Is my stack too big or too small for the shove?

This early in the tournament there will be a lot of players that just bought in -- like HJ.
BB came in just because he thinks he has pot odds to draw 2 4-way (but I'm pretty sure that he doesn't).

I was very surprised to see 3 people commit their stack drawing 2, but in fairness they were all had very good draws.

Thanks

Your stack is too big. But obv in vacuum your play is very very profitable. For example, if I play $1 Hold'em and I have 60 blinds , I will never 3bet shove TT vs HJ 4x and BU call. But if you do that, probably you will play better, than me.
Sorry for the arrogant tone in the other post. I will do some work for this leak .

Don’t forget the pot is already big with the 4x raise and call already. You need to make a 3bet to like 800 and call a shove with 9 low in most cases. Especially with fishy players I don’t think a shove of around 60bb with a 25% ante in play is bad.

That's looks like a good play to me but I've never played this game in tournaments and the cash games where I used to live dried up when the nearby casinos opened. Playing out of position, getting all the chips in pre-flop or folding are my two favorite things to do. I would expect to knock pat if called by one but I think you have to draw after more than one caller.

And congratulations on finding such suitable opponents.
