Hey kncfb,
your friend is a PokerStars player. Due to the recent changes in StrategyPoints for PokerStars players, these points are now "bonus points" which mean they don't count towards TAF. Here you can find more details: changes to StrategyPoints for PokerStars players
Please note that the above change is only for the PokerStars players. If your referred friends play on other partner rooms, they will receive the regular StrategyPoints which count towards our Tell a Friend system.
