Upcoming changes to StrategyPoints for PokerStars players

We would like to inform you about changes to our StrategyPoints offering for tracked PokerStars players.

Recently PokerStars rolled out their new loyalty program. The program shifts the focus away from a classic rakeback system towards a gamified experience that aims to be more attractive to casual players.

For PokerStars tracked PokerStrategy.com members there are a few changes as well:

  1. You earn StrategyPoints for your betting activities on the sports and casino offer at PokerStars. That wasn't possible before.
  2. Besides the above additional option to earn points and a higher status here at PokerStrategy.com, StrategyPoints you earn from now on via PokerStars will be given as so-called Bonus StrategyPoints.

How your PokerStars StrategyPoints will appear

Bonus StrategyPoints count towards your PokerStrategy.com status as usual. The only difference is that they do not count towards our Tell-A-Friend system and similar monetary incentives.

The rate at which you earn those Bonus StrategyPoints will remain the same as before. Also, StrategyPoints earned until now will remain untouched and still be counted as normal StrategyPoints.

This change will become effective as of today (7th July 2017). You will also be eligible to get extra 10 bonus StrategyPoints per day for your PokerStars activity as of 11th July.
