Nits are very tight and careful players who only put money in the pot if they are very sure their hand is the best. This thing is exploitable, however, but the question is: how do I exploit it?
Another problem that arises when playing against a nit is: can my good hand beat his good hand? You can sometimes be faced with a situation where you have a great hand but a nit calls or even raises your bet, which would make you doubt your hand strength.
