The board is pretty good for C-bet. Even vs two, even vs three...You can bet on the turn, if someone is curious.
As played , check-raise, check-call, check-fold. Do you ever check here with an over-pair? Check-raise 50bb. Ugly spot for him...You still can fold vs shove. Yeah, 6 outs, but he can have A8, A4, 88 and 44 ♦.
Check-call is too obv. Still you can play , like that, if you have some over-pairs. But I doubt it.

The problem with Cbetting that all ranges of the players are based of mid pairs that doesn’t fold on a Cbet I think, but it’s indeed funny to see that someone folds without any action.

I understand that you want to do an exploitative play here by showing big strength. I just think that we can't guarantee Villain folding QQ or even JJ here, since it's 10NL. Oh and I forgot to mention that Villain is a reg with pretty solid stats. Therefore we can probably narrow down his range towards pockets and AQ/AK. The more I think about it the more I like my play... Without any reads for a call we probably gotta ssume villain having stuff like JTs, KQs, AJs in his range which he also bluffs on the flop to make a +EV check/call. But then we gotta check some AA too to balance our check/folds on the turn...

Playing X/C is the worst option you have here.

The guy played call/call pre, this often is a pp. And on this board he's not going to fold it that often. Especially after he bet 20bb he seems to like his hand.
You could opt to cbet small as a 'semibluff' with your AK high.
As played if you aren't certain a x/f is definitely fine. You're going to hate yourself if you x/c or x/s here and he calls you down with 99.

You said "the guy seems to be a reg". Like @SDK1987 said, his range is pp heavy. Vs random players this board is not good for one bet only. Can be bet on the flop and the turn, like AA, KK. I like to do sometime check-raise vs regs, also bet on the flop and turn. Big bet on the turn. This works often. Vs regs ofc.

If I expect high FE. I mean high FE vs bet on the flop. My play will be balanced only vs regs. I mean those, who know me. Check-raise actually is a bad option vs unknown. I will play bet-bet-bet for value. If the Ace comes, I will play passively. Bet-bet-bet AI vs regs, also bet-big bet and check-fold. Yeah, you will have 50bb on the river, but this works. Vs weak regs, vs regs with small sample.
