Yes, way too wide flop "float" IMO. Also player behind still to act. You're calling to bluff later I guess as your hand is only a very weak gutter, you dont have meaningful heart blockers either. MP is betting against 3 other players so he wont have a random hand.

Turn is not really "one of the best cards" as you only pick up back-door diamonds. Villain pots so he has either a strong made hand or a good draw. More reasonable call than on flop, but I dont think you're making profit with this play.

River not the greatest spot for bluff, as you rep quite little when betting and he should've something as played. I guess bluffing is mandatory though because that was your flop plan, right? Very rarely your 8s are good

I guess nutflush is your best hand otr as you wont have sets and it's backdoor cards that pair the table - what fullhouses can you have? If you valuebet NF you must assume he calls with weaker flushes or it's pointless.

Interesting hand though, what he showed up with? I guess flush or trapped fullhouse would make some sense, IMO he shouldnt chicken now if he has missed draw.

Yes. Only reason to call would be that you've 99/88 and are really scared being coolered by excatly KK. But that is unlikely and if it happens so be it.

But with set you wanna get it in when there is two fds, 5,6,7, T, J, Q complete a straight. Too many cards where you dont know where you are. Of course you can have a redraw too and superstrong hand, but when he pots he most likely gonna go with his hand. Also if he misses there is chance he is just folding otr instead of bluffing, and you dont get any more value.

I guess he would not have called your bluff then with bare KT. Probably had some straightdraw to go too? Still I would make a note he plays weak draws very aggressively, unless he had some decent wrap/bd diamonds too.
