PokerStars Zoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed)

Button ($2.01)
SB ($0.42)
Hero (BB) ($2.16)
UTG ($2.89)
UTG+1 ($2.44)
MP1 ($2.32)
MP2 ($2)
MP3 ($2)
CO ($2)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2, 2
UTG raises to $0.06, 3 folds, MP3 calls $0.06, 1 fold, Button calls $0.06, SB calls $0.05, Hero calls $0.04

Flop: ($0.30) 5, 8, 2 (5 players)
SB bets $0.36 (All-In), Hero raises to $1.10, 3 folds

Turn: ($1.02) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($1.02) K (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $1.02 | Rake: $0.04

Tricky position on the flop with 3 players behind me and the short stack pushing in. I decided to 3-bet to isolate the shortstack and see the showdown. Any better way to play this?

Don’t forget it’s just a raise (2bet) on the flop. If you want to 3bet you need a bet and raise in front of you. I would most likely raise smaller or shove right away on the flop. Now you are committed anyway and a raise to like 70c in total works most likely as well.
