"Dear xxxxx,

Time is running out for you to complete the additional verification process required on your account.

You must complete the necessary action by 29th October 2017 or your account will be suspended and you will be unable to transact."

Did someone else get this ? This is due to them asking for Selfie photos, rather than standart ID scans. My profile was completed except for the Selfie thing.

My account is still working however, obviously can't leave money on it, to give them an opportunity to freeze funds.

I'am wondering if this could also be a Phishing Mail attempt, but I've received several ones of those prior to 29. Octobre, so that's why I'am making this post to ask if other people had any issues with this and weither their accounts are still working. Cheers

This is a legitimate request from Skrill, not phishing - you'll get the same reminder to submit a selfie when you log into your Skrill account. The deadline dates differ a bit - for me and a few other Russians, it's November 13; for some Russians, it was October 29 like for you.

any idea of when they are planning to shut down selfie-unverified accounts ? As of now Nov 1st, I can still unlimitedly send and receive funds.

Don't necessarily want to waken up the hounds either (by writing SKRILL myself)
