Was the push pre-flop the correct move here as the re-raise would have been more than 50% of my stack or would a normal re-raise of 3x been more appropriate.

Nice hand.

When there's a raise(except for minraise) before you, either push or fold is the best choice 99% of the time, specially when you're sitting in the blinds(OOP).

Hi Steve,

You are OOP (SB) + a 12bb ReRaise is >50% of your stack (12/23bb) + New SSS strategy tells you to shove AK+,TT+ if someone raises in front of you

well played,
Gerv

Gerv... you said about the new strategy... i know that in the english forum we don´t have it... but

if we should shove TT with a raise in front... why not to play TT from early position too? i mean... if it have strenght to re-raise all-in.

thx.

Very good question.

And when do we get this "new" SSS in english?! :O

Playing TT from EP means you are mostly playing OOP with 1 or 2 Overcards ont he board which makes it difficult to play for beginners/basic SSS'ers since they dont incorporate stats.

My first expansion on basic SSS was playing AQ on UTG+2 isntead of MP1. this concerns TT as well but playing TT/AQ on UTG or UTG+1 is a no-go without stats

ok, thx... i got it, the 2 OCs on the board would really suck... well... let´s learn the rest first hehe... im just trying to reach 100$ bankroll... hard... many bad beats... at least i didn´t down to 60$ again xD
