SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♥ Q♠

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB raises to 10 BB, Hero calls 7 BB

Flop: (20.5 BB, 2 players) 3♣ 5♣ T♠
BB bets 11.6 BB, Hero calls 11.6 BB

Turn: (43.7 BB, 2 players) K♥
BB bets 24.9 BB, fold

Spoiler

BB wins 41.7 BB

Looking back this looks really tight, and I think we could perhaps be calling on the turn. But what range donks out like this, we have 2 blockers to hands like QJ that might randomly donk with a draw.
Not too sure what to think here

Well Turn fold is a good decision, because it would be hard to call on the river another bet...
What will you do if river is something like a J or an A? or another :club:?
Well hard to fold against one overcard, but think ahead of how you want to play on the river
Even is river is a blank and villain will bet again, what would be your plan? If you want to fold, fold just on the turn...

I would be very careful with just always folding one street because you plan on folding the other one as well
he can continue with pretty much every cbet combo on the flop but that doesn't mean he should or will barrel the river
And we are folding all pocket pairs and other floats we pick here like AsQs over this I'd say so QQ iis pretty high up in our range
And the population on the river tends to be way too passive anyway, so again, treat with caution :)

But regardless it's close here, him being tight over a small sample and NL10 just means you can go either way and it'll be okay given the positions

Yes. Yes I did. :f_cool:

I take it the EV over the longrun is the same for folding or calling?

Well if you run it through e.g. Snowie it will show you slam dunk call +5.82 EV when it plays against itself, no question
BUT it's NL10 where people 3bet on the low side especially in the big blind vs UTG
And the small sample doesn't prove anything, but just makes it more likely that he will be nitty so you can tighten your ranges even further
And those combined will bring the EV down, I'd say roughly around the breakeven mark (we of course do like that fact that people tend to be too passive on rivers when calling a hand like this why it isn't a clear fold either)

And yeah I mean close between call and fold raising would be very "bold"

Nice to see you around to start the New Year. Do you have anything new in the works for 2018?

I do not think it is bad to fold here, like Coach Lemon said it is pretty close.

Sounds absolutely fantastic. Week 3 on software is intriguing as I've been spending tons of time with CardrunnersEV, Flopzilla, Power Equilab, and most recently - GTO+, which is the new GTO solver that's part of the CREV package. There's some cutting edge software out there today that will really escalate your winrate if you put the time into learning how to use it.

I agree with LemOn here. It is probably not bad to fold, but personally I would be calling quite frequently. I assume BB's 3betting range is polarized, he could be continuing OTT with crap and then there is the fact that they do not triple barrel so aggressively. I also wouldn't look at his stats too much over this sample, sometimes I play with similar stats over 100 hands even though I'm significantly more loose in reality.
