Do you think this hand is ok? I probably do not have to bluffcatch here on NL5? I think I am only losing to flushes here as I rule out TT and AA, 55, 77 as well as straights.

Considering I played my set somewhat meekly, I should probably bluff-catch here but I am just not sure if on these stakes an exploitative fold should be ok?

Or do you think should bet/fold turn instead of check-call?,

I should have sized flop raise bigger, too.

Thx for opinions

Can you give your thought process. You will gain more if people around here see your logic.

ok: thought process, Mister master poster:

Flop:

I have a set on an A high boar mw, so I raise for value and protection as there is a FD (this latter aspect I did not sufficiently appreciate or else I would have raised bigger)

Turn:

After I get called by the BU, I am often beat by a flush OTT. Therefore, I can choose between betting with the intention of calling a raise given I have the right express or implied odds (or folding if I don´t), or, as played, check and call accordingly.

River:

As I do not boat up OTR, I can only bluffcatch according to my pot odds and how often I think I am good...which I still feel should not be very often but what should be my worst hand to bluffcatch here? A weak flush?

I think carrying on betting OTT is better, for two reasons:

1. We keep the initiative and maybe he fears that we have the flush, if he doesn’t; I think that check-call shows we’re afraid of the flush and, when we check again, he can bluff us OTR.

2. It’s possible that he has a hand with one club, such as a pair or a broadway hand. We don’t want him to draw cheaply to a flush.

We can fold to a raise.

He seems a loose player. What is his wwsf and wtsd ?
On the flop you can raise bigger, yeah it sucks if they fold but as you said this is a mw pot and there is that FD there.
I dont fold Turn here, i still have 10 outs and his bet OTT is so small.

Well played
The only alternative is to put in a small bet OTT like 25-30%

Just make sure you don't bet 2/3 pot, that's probably the worst option here, bet folding so much equity is just a disaster, even going full pot is better so you're commited. But check or small bet is the way to go
