PokerStars - 100/200 Ante 25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 6.34 BB
SB: 38.66 BB (VPIP: 41.86, PFR: 22.49, 3Bet Preflop: 3.53, Hands: 269)

2 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.75 BB) Hero has 6♥ 9♥

SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero checks

Flop: (2.25 BB, 2 players) T♣ 6♠ K♥
Hero checks, SB checks

Turn: (2.25 BB, 2 players) 5♥
Hero checks, SB checks

River: (2.25 BB, 2 players) 9♦
Hero bets 1.5 BB, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 5.22 BB and is all-in, SB calls 2.22 BB

How should i play this hand? On the river i can't fold this hand being so short. On the turn i check because i think i have a hand that has showdown value and i can improve to a flush.

Cumps ;)

Shove preflop. 6.5bb deep any decision here will be tough. As played there is no way im folding 2P being so short.

Would be great to check it in an ICM calculator, but, one important thing is:
As you were short stack the villain can call you with any two cards, per ICM, in my point of view and because your FE is too low.
Anyway, shoving preflop is best than stab! You didn't have a good hand for post-flop play

Don’t forget $ev and Cev is the same HU, but shoving pre-flop seems like a decent option. I expect he will fold a decent amount of the time based on his big gap between VPIP and PFR.

The rest of the hand seems standard to me.

Cheers,
