PokerStars - 150/300 Ante 25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 18.4 BB
SB: 11.6 BB (VPIP: 64.96, PFR: 6.74, 3Bet Preflop: 3.20, Hands: 388)

2 players post ante of 0.08 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.67 BB) Hero has 8♥ J♣

SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero checks

Flop: (2.17 BB, 2 players) 7♥ J♠ 9♦
Hero bets 1.08 BB, SB calls 1.08 BB

Turn: (4.33 BB, 2 players) 6♣
Hero bets 2.17 BB, SB calls 2.17 BB

River: (8.67 BB, 2 players) K♦
Hero checks, SB checks

In this case i think i have to clear bets on flop and turn, probably i could bet a bit more but on the river betting is close. I don't know what line could be best x-call or bet 1/2 pot? Probably betting around 1/3 or 1/2 pot should be better. What you think?

Cumps ;)

Against a fish you can bet indeed more like 2/3 pot, but the river is fine to me. It will be tough to get action of worse hands if you bet and I doubt he would change his hand in a bluff ether.

1st of all I like the lead. U take control and u keep the pot nice and mangeable OOP without missing any value.
I agree with SDK1987 with the 2/3 against a fishy or sticky opponent to extract some value but 1/2 pot is perfectly fine on this board. River is a x/c for me. U don't want to get shoved over after betting 3 streets. So, WP for me.
