Hello,
I always wanted to start this challenge after my Dota buddy finnished his on cz forum. Never really had time to grind with school and work. But now I have plenty of time so Im gonna give it a shot.
I started playing poker after Athene posted youtube video how he made 200000$ playing. He explained his strategy (24 tabling TAG) and it sounded easy. Boy was I wrong ♦ Ive signed up here and started studying. Since I had no time to grind I resorted to play live MTTs. Did alright but nothing great. After a while I got a job as a dealer and when I dropped out from university there was no other option. I moved to UK and started working for a big casino. Now when even a big events feel like just another day at work, I figured I might as well try my luck at online cash games. Math was always big part of my life (studied software engineering, tutored high school students,..) and it application to poker always fascinated me. But since probability and statistics were never my strong side I always had more questions than answers. Ill try to make this blog somewhat interactive. Ill post my questions on specific spot and strategy in general. Im looking forward to any discussion ![]()
So whats with the snow? I grew up in mountains. As far as I can remeber I was skiing and since 11yo I switched to snowboard. I cant imagine my life without winter holidays. Thats gonna be my goal. Since 10 days in alps cost around 800-1000, Im gonna use that for setting my goal. Im gonna try to win 3 trips like this.

First questions:
In one of LexV old school videos (If you haven't seen them go check that out, shit is funny) he said "You cant look at hands backwards. You have to look at every decision from flop onward and look for mistakes." I knew this, but it made me thinking. How do you select hands to review? You can lose pot you played perfectly and win pots where you made major mistakes. What to look for?
Is there any sort of recommended way to watch videos on this site. Its just a ton of videos hard to navigate trough. It might help to add a "recommended videos" to specific strategy topic. Video doesnt have to be focused on that topic, but if the topic is discussed for a while it would be great to put a link to the strategy page. Is there some list for this?
Anyway what else do I have to do to get into this challenge?
