Hey all,

I've been playing nl2 and after 2.8K hands, with pretty decent results I would like some help to understand what my stats showed in terms of leaks. Is it unusual, but will help me a lot. Thanks in advance

Cheers,

Arnalsan

I'd say that 2.8k is a small sample size.
I have something like 45k and some postflop stats haven't converged yet.

If no one answers you here, I believe there is a 2+2 forum where you post your stats and the community gives you feedback about them.

Imo ur blind defense seems a bit loose. In generel u flat call a huge amount of ur range, which is okay for set mining OR if u got position. Otherwise it would be better to 3bet with blockers.

U got a differnce of 12% between VPIP and PFR. Try to lower it a bit, means play more aggressive. A VPIP of 30 is also a bit loose on the micros.

Do you play full ring or short handed?

Either way I’d say play a bit tighter and more aggressively. Look aim for your vpip/pfr stats to be closer together. You want to be raising more and calling less.

I see your BTN open range is quite good. This means you are stealing well. Could even my higher if the blinds are tighter.

SB you’re calling way to much. You only really want to be folding or 3betting here. Remember that you are always OOP when playing in SB.

You’re continuation betting well and not folding too often to opponents cbet. I’d say you could bet more against opponents that miss their cbet (so they bet preflop and then check the flop).

Generally speaking I’d say you need a lot more hands though. Something like 50k would start to get the right idea.

Also get in touch with @la55i from the pokerstrategy forums once you have more hands. I did is starter package for €30 and it was great. He helped me identify some leaks in my stats kind of like how we’re doing now. He also reviewed a 30 minute video of me in a poker session.

I'm glad I could help :f_thumbsup:

@Arnalsan
If you are interested in stats review I do those for only 10€ and if you throw in a 30min video review like we did with DannyHorsley it costs that 30€. But really to get any reliable stats it would be good to have at least 10 times more hands than you have now. 2.8k hands means you have seen less than 500 hands per position. You play 5k more hands and your stats might look very much different. So looking at some specific positional stats isn't that wise at the moment.

Arnalsan, not sure how trust-able those infos are (because they are old) and part of them only applies to FR, but they looked interesting anyway:
