I believe you were already pot committed ott. Assuming villain was an unknown player, I would call ott even though Ad was the worst card in the deck.

Flop bet can be a little larger, like 1/2 pot.

I don't think we are pot comitted after he almost pot donks the turn. I mean this is at least an AK. What do you put him on?

Hero already invested more than 1/2 of his stack with $2.96 left behind. If villain did have AK, couldn't he still push it easily on the river? Could it be screwed Qx, JJ, TT, or other air? I am not sure too, but I am probably going to make a curious hero call with 3:1 odds.

We can fold our KK on turn and do not worrie too much. This happens.

I completely agree, you should be able to fold this hand without worrying about it too much.

Yet, it's important to follow the player if possible and make sure that he doesn't do these moves too often.
If so, you can call him on such turn more often with wider ranges.

In most cases, I would think that he holds at least AK at this spot.

Good sizing preflop with your 4bet.

I also think flop bet could have been larger though I’d say more than 1/3 pot. We’re still getting value from most Qx combinations, overcards and potentially even a Broadway hand with backdoor draws (e.g. KJ) if our opponent is a bit looser. I’d personally be making a bet here between 2/3 and full pot.

Villain knows we have a monster hand here and bets very large OTT. I don’t think he’s doing this to get us off the hand, I think he wants our money. This card smashes his range (AK, AQ, AJ, KQs) he could also have QQ but I think he would be checkraising OTF.

I personally think that you’re fine to fold KK here.

Thanks for the responses, it sounds like i played it right...

after this hand villain continued his onslaught of aggression and i adjusted accordingly... before this hand I have little reads on villain, so I played it safe and folded which sounds like the right option.

I do agree the flop bet was a bit small, 2/3 for value would've been better but my plan was bet 1/2 pot if call, all in on turn but as you can see that shit went sideways for me.
