Problem with calling the flop is what your plan will be on a blank turn card. You get easy committed if you need to call a potential turn as well.

Again easy for villain to hit and you have showdown value and some backdoor stuff so check.

You can obviously hit lot of stuff with your range here and thats the point. You have hands with less showdown value (and more nutty outs) to cbet as semibluff and hands which are value bets. If you are cbetting everything with even some backdoors and showdown value then your range contain way too much hands that cannot really continue versus raise compared to times you have value hand like top pair+ or good mid pair. Plus point being that even hand like A7 (which I would cbet-call) is not too happy being raised.
So I would check with KQs with idea to check to showdown decent portion of time. If we hit K or Q in turn we actually have very strong holding. If we get any draw and villain leads we have solid bluff catcher with extra outs (if being behind). If turn is blank and villain lead we can still call as we beat all sensible semibluffs. So lot of good things can happen from taking turn.
