I think we all hate that donk bets on flop, but without any special read you should fold on flop like that. Raise is completely wrong. I have no idea what you wanted to achieve. You were lucky this time but it is not what poker is about.


Do the hand judges also think a raise is completely wrong? I see a call as completely wrong since you're paying off better hands and worse hands might fire the 2nd barrell.

With a raise you will often blast better hands than your own out of the pot because they fear an ace.

Against good players (not that I'm facing them) this will also serve to balance your line so they can't auto-fold vs your raises..

Well that's my thinking, praise it or tear it to shreds guys.

mh i don´t like it as well. first of all it´s just not necessary. they will pay you off anyway when you hit your hand so wait for these spots. i can´t see many better hands folding and balancing is no argument as well because it´s again not necessary and nobody will pay attention anyway (at this limit) :)
