Most effective/useful method of studying

This will be a lil' rant....

I love Snowie, I think it's just a must tool for every player, I have the highest version and use it a ton. I have also used it a couple years back when I was still a NL16-25 full-time grinder It's just a super easy way to get range analysis without running a long simulation, especially great for small spots, preflop ranges and ballpark understanding of range interaction.

I just think the guys running the business side are losing confidence in their own product. Where companies like amazon with Prime give you discounts monthly subs, very easy cancellations ever pro-rata refunds if you cancel early Snowie management went different route.

They cut the monthly sub completely and scrapped the starter package altogether and made changes to the worse without giving an option (specifically allowing seeing EV popup in training for each spot, effectively rendering it practically useless or very time consuming for the purpose of training and not just challenging Snowie).

This was especially bizarre to me when other poker software like Hand2note goes the monthly high service route with free version for micros, and even pio solver lets you run turn+river for free. I guess people weren't renewing enough but it sends a really bad message

I had back and forth with support on this and they even understand I will have a hard time to recommend it to guys like you from getting it, because the price is pretty restrictive.

yeah it comes to $8/month
and if you have the bankroll to shell out 10BI at NL10 then go for it, but many guys can't and I wouldn't be surprised if you can't either. You used to get a month for around $30 and work in bursts with the pro version hashtag end rant

Yeah Lemon I think I may indeed have to shell' out this 100$, just when I've had work all the time and wouldn't even have time to use it it puts me off.
Sucks that they got rid of the rolling option.

Is PIO like flopzilla pokamon?

Coaching is expensive, that is very much true. When I was playing NL10 I also really needed a coach but never took one. I managed to get higher myself but it took a looooot of time. Maybe I would be already playing the same limits than LemOn if I had taken coaching back then ♦ So the coin has 2 sides.
I have to throw in a little advertisement and mention that I offer a bit cheaper coaching services.

For me Snowie is a tool that helps me improve my theoretical thinking. It also let's me quickly check how to play hands close to GTO. It is definitely a nice tool to have, but I'm not sure if it starts to get too expensive for me. That is because my usage is very low. And I do own a GTO solver which would give me even better results, it just takes more time to work with that.

I have owned snowie for almost 2 years now. First I started with the PRO. Then I realized I don't need that and bought the starter (was about 30$ per year, not available anymore) and that has been just fine for me. Now I'm thinking, if the starter was enough for me because I use it so little, do I want to pay 3x the price?
And also, the prices advertised in Snowies website do not include VAT. So when the intermediate is 99$ I have to really pay over 120$. I dunno why they do that. At least in Finland it is illegal to advertise prices excluding the VAT to the customers.

No not really
If Pokamon is willing to run sims for you and help interpret them you'd be insane not to take him up on the offer.

I can tell you guys that besides coaching pretty much every single high level reg without stellar natural talent for the game is using Pio/Snowie and other solvers and analyzing the results, concepts, implications and practical application as a main learning method these days
