I'll explain the best I can in simplest terms. I had KK in early position, raised 3 times BB. Player in mid position re-raised. Action back to me, all in suspecting he had a strong pair. Show down, me KK, him Q8 offsuit. flop lands j, 9, 10 perfect. My issue isn't losing, but this player seemed so eager to get in the pot after a strong raise, and re-raise. Just seemed to perfect.

This kind of beats happen a lot of players. Especially in micro MTT's and freerolls.
I had 1 time a set against a pair and he needed to hit quads to win and he did it.

That for sure, but that's not the case for anyone and the room has no reason for it to cheat with it.

Heard the case about an ex employee of a poker room who had an admin account on a room and tried to cheat in a MTT but they catched him after.Can't recall the room name. Still On some low traffic rooms you can probably find some poker bots playing to increase the traffic but they are not really cheating.

That's nasty for sure, but good the poker room has bust him and I expect he lost his job as well.
If i recall well he did that after he was fired from his job for the poker room or the opposite but good thing they busted him.
What's the more problematic to me is that he had an account with the ability to see others cards wich shouldn't be allowed.
Atleast unless during the software engineering process then those kind of accounts rights should be removed.
Dunton what games and limit did you play? As SDK said above, it matters, because in some games that is quite common.
The example k0kki3 used is good because from that we can see that villain had only 10bb left. In those short stack situations it is normal to stack off loose. Also if it is a freeroll or a low buy-in tournament we could expect some guys to do funny stuff..
If someone is able to cheat, I believe most of the time it would be done with some kind of a superuser account or then you have a virus installed in your computer that takes screenshots of your hands or something like that. I haven't yet heard about a case where someone could manipulate the random number generator. Now villain got a shitty hand, went all-in and hit a nice flop. To me that sounds like random. Not cheating.
I expect if someone would cheat his account would be banned forever.
I don't think you need to worried about this.
If someone is able to cheat, he'll of course have huge advantage and he'll not need to make it that obvious, like shoving Q8o pre.

I completely agree. Cheater would at least do it with better starting hands.
Everything can happen in this game if you play long enough.
At my last tourny, I lost with my AA vs. A9o after the flop was KK2 (turn was 9 and river was 9 of course)
