Where to put my third monitor?

For the past month, I've voiced the desire on stream to have a 3rd monitor.
One monitor was always used for the poker tables, the other had to handle OBS Studio, Chatty (handles the stream chat), VLC (music), and my window management app and whatever else.

So, with the third monitor, I can have OBS on its own monitor, all poker tables on one, and the third for all the extra stuff.

Here is my current arrangement:
#1 is the new monitor, and will be the poker monitor -- I'm so tempted to call it the pokemon
#3 is the monitor with the Windows Start menu on it, (the "primary display") and
#2 is the catch-all.

The middle one is for poker tables, the left for OBS and stream aids, and the right for all else--primarily chat.

I've also thought of doing something like:

or perhaps this:

I'll run with things as they are for the moment, since I can't do either alternate unless I get a support that will allow me to put the monitor up high.

Cheers,
VS

I know that many who have 3 monitors have one above the others but wouldn't that be difficult to always look up? I think your neck could get tired and it wouldn't be as ergonomic? So I might prefer the setup you have now.

One option is to sell those and buy one large ultra-wide monitor :) I switched from 2 monitors to 1 ultra-wide and it has worked ok. When I record a video, I just record a part of the monitor.

hey, i had 4 most of the time, using the above monitor base.

3 monitors side by side do not work at all, as you cant overlook them. having them in two rows above eachother is fine though.

Than I'm happy I use only 1. Not sure what I need with so many monitors, but it's fun to watch.

Sell all, buy one 34'' wide. I have two right now, one 29'' and and 23'', the only upgrade I'm looking for in the future is to switch to one big at least 34'' wide.

I can agree with this. I did change from 2 monitors to one 29" wide. Even though I have a bit less screen real estate I'm still quite happy. A 34" would have cost more :(
