Hello Guys!
Please give me some comments on the line the opp play here, cause to me there is no much sense or I just do not understand what he is doing here. I had some notes about the opp, he likes to make light bluffs sometimes, but in this case I dont really understand is it value play or the stupid bluff OTR.
My play probably was not the best too, however I will try to explain the way I was thinking.
Pre: standard float
Flop: checkback cause it is possible the opp trapping with set, I want to pot control here
Turn: The board was super heavy so If the opp has a set he should go for big protection/value bet here (if not on flop), but he just check to me again. I have 12 outs draw, so I decided to bet. When get raised I still can call due to good enough pot odds.
River: once he check again, it looks like a missed flush imo. But after I tried to steal the pot he shove all in and I have to fold. Is that the play with set?
I would never play it that way myself. The only hand I can see myself playing this way is T9s of spades here ![]()
Any ideas?
