AJo on utg against donk bet from BB

I don't expect villain to often bluff with that low sizing river but I'm the curious guy, I wouldn't be able to fold I admit.

Not sure what he would lead the flop with, but with only 4 outs for a straight I would most likely fold without reads on him. You beat only a draw or random bluff here.

Flop donks are not that often super strong. I frequently see recreational players do that with some draws or weak made hands, like here it could be T4s or something like that. Against a recreational player donking I wouldn't fold just yet OTF.
But when he then 3 barrels, I would get just a bit worried.

Floxy doesn't expect villain to often bluff with a lower sizing, but I believe small sized bluffs are more common at NL5. At NL10 and below I would respect big bets more because they seem to be more honest. Guys at NL5 don't so often have the balls to pull the trigger and bet pot as a bluff ♦

I would be tempted to call because his sizing is not that big. On the other hand I think he looks quite strong. I think folding might be slightly better, maybe?

On the river you only beat a missed drawand with the A♠: you blocked the back door flush draw and AK has a straight as well.

If it would be different river, even blank, I would fold (probably :). With that Q I suggest that combinations qx decrease more. About AK I was thinking during hand, it's possible also like J9, JK? Why not?

Open raise pre with a smaller size and i guess I would also call on river.
Fish also often like to donk bottom and midpairs on Flop.

That rule of thumb totally applies for micros fishes indeed. But not as much in 3 barrel spots. If there had been some checking somewhere, I'd be much more confident. Now some fishes can totally 3babluff, other totally can't, it's kind of a blur, we can close our eyes and click on a button.

Yea, you can calculate your pot odds [ bet/(pot+bet) ] and see how often you need to win to make a profitable call. In this case you need to win a bit over 22% of the time to call it profitably. Then you can use equilab and put villain to a range and see how you are doing against him.
