Hello guys,
I have this awesome hand in NL100. I have QQ on MP and regular from SB 3bets me. I standardly cold call.
Postflop:
He is cbeting OOP. Im cold call because i want his range wide and i want his double barell bluff.
Turn:
On turn comes one from worst card. I think this card is best for his 3bet range. He send double barell cbet and his bet sizing is adjusted to bigger.Im cold calling for pot control.
River:
On river he sends all-in and i think this is underbluffed spot where he will have 80-85% of the time nuts. Im folding for this reason.

Im really not sure what should pio solver or pokersnowie say to this. If im folding top set im thinking our opponent will have 100% of the time nuts or second nuts. But it looks in my eyes really strong and i folded.(Never in my life folded top set but im improving my game and i think its reasonable, im new on NL100)
But what about defending here. If im folding top set am i not overfolding there? Soem bluffs he should have...
What you think about it?

Haven't analized a NL100 hh here for a long time !

Sick spot ! I'm ok with it as played. Maybe you're overfolding (hard to tell without knowing your exact range), but given that they underbluff it shouldn't be a problem anyway. You're supposed to have enough Kx yourself here, it's not as if top set was your top range.

Why don't you 4bet pre?
Flop call makes sense as you said. But I think this can be a raise as well.
Turn obviously sucks but it wont be a T, 8 or K all the time. Your plan was raise here on another card right? If you get check raise here how would you play?
About the fold... I would expect NL100 to bluff often this, so I don't know.

Preflop: If it's your range, can't say much. I think, I have mixed 4bet/call 3bet with QQ here.
Flop: Get. It. In. Get it in, there is no reason to call OTF. It's a mistake. I prefer to get the money in while ahead. Can go for a shove over his c-bet even.
Turn: That's what you get when you call OTF. I would not cold call for pot control. I don't think it's a correct reasoning for this spot. We are drawing to 10 outs, right? So, we have ~20% equity and need to decide if we have implied odds to get paid off OTR. Well, we probably do with 62 bb behind. That being said, we get it in on paired river, but fold on the rest of runouts.

I agree with Ath for the most part, but as I said the call has some pros. Turn wont come bad every time.
My tendency and my style is also to raise is ass OTF.
Calling twice on a good turn card would be the mistake to avoid.

solved it out of curiosity.

the EV of call is almost the EV of fold. LOL; cant believe it still. raising is the only option.

Of fold ? Really ? On your sim QQ is called and raised.
And your range seems a tad tight I think.
Arguing about your sim. I so missed that. Where were you lol. Now we just need Lemon to arbitrate.

I think if you fold OTR as played you're overfolding, depending what range you defend pre but KT has nuts, AK you probably 4bet, KQ combos... maybe you float flop with KJ but probably not all combos. So as played you 8 (+4 KJ?)combos OTR you're calling and 9 combos of sets you're folding + some twopair/toppair. As some other guy said just raise flop always imo

I'd expect AK to be in his 3bet calling range like QQ or I would find it weird. And who wouldn't float all the KJ they have on that flop ?

Well it's hard without knowing his ranges right... but even if you float all KJ (defending all KJ combos pre is probably a tat wide?) you still fold a lot

Defending KJo pre is out of the picture indeed but I wouldn't fold any KJs on that flop against half pot and wouldn't expect any opponent to do so.
I'd prefer to 4bet QQ before AK so I expect people not 4betting QQ (on which I totally agree here) to not 4bet AK either in the same spots.
When the board sucks hard and people aren't bluffing enough, well, you fold a lot indeed. That's poker.

I agree about KJ on that flop. I'd 4bet AK over QQ (if you want to call either) because AK has more 5bet blocks and you need to hit otf

Edit: well pre might be whatever anyway, different playstyle etc

Ok, interesting. As for me yet, I prefer to 4bet QQ because it needs to deny more equity in villain's range, especially in spots like from SB where he can have a lots of small suited Ax etc, and I find AK a little more playable in 3bet pots IP.
In most scenarios you just 4bet both or neither anyway.

Hello guys,
PRF EV of call MP/SB is almost 2x higher than EV or Raise. In fact raise is a bluff, because we will be facing all-in AK, KK+ vs a good player.
OTF Raise for value and protection is absolutely necessary with a 50% size. The reason is exactly very bad possible run outs!
As played OTT is clearly not happy call but it is call still.
OTR it is a clear fold, because he have tons of Kx.
Cheers
