Why don't you ship it on the turn? Small overbet, and I doubt he will let his FD/TP go there...
As played, I guess c/c is nice if he is likely to bet his busted FD: I don't see him folding any A... and I don't see him calling with a J or a Q. I don't see you folding either, he only has to be bluffing 1/6th of the time for this to be profitable.

If the bet isn't that big then I am playing Check/Call, if he fires a bigger bet then I might fold.

I`m check/calling ~1/2 pot and check/folding to bigger bets unless I know he tries to take the pot there with busted draws often , case in witch I might call a bigger be , up to 3/4 maybe.
check would be a negative freeroll since he will check back any 1 pair hand like QT and almost never (not 1 in 6 times) bluff his busted fd because even a donkey might recognize, that after we raise pre and bet 2 streets hard post we won't ever fold to 20$ when the pot then is 100$ and getting 5:1.
just stick in the last 20$ and you sometimes get a call by KJ, KQ, QT, TJ, TT that just wanna see a sd due to the nice pot odds. u just need 16.5% eq for that river push which u certainly have.

I have no idea how this cap thing works. But if I understood correctly we can bet 20 at max and he can't raise? If so, betting is best.

yes, i agree that push is way better than C/C, for the reasons mentioned above, + because FD and other draws would often play differently on flop or turn + there are hardly any busted draws that don't have SD value.
i was actually trying to decide between push and C/F, but if what twicet says is true then i guess it's an easy push. at the time i didn't realise that i only needed ~16.5%. i think villain will often play KQ, QT, Q8 this way. How often will bad players call Jx here after having top pair on the flop?

I hardly ever overbet, although i don't actually know whether it's always a bad thing to do. In capNL you obviously often encounter situations where you could cap with a small-ish overbet. Can I have some other opinions on this kind of situation?
I would be betting $44 into $32. I think villain usually folds normal draws to a bet like that.
