A simple question:
Would you play $3-SNGs on your iPhone, e.g. while you're on your way to work, in a boring lecture or as an enrichment of your lunch?

Ideally, it would be connected to a normal poker room so you could use your account - and fishes could just deposit while playing through their telephone bill.

The interface should be perfect do display one table - and luckily the controls would be pretty simple.

Added question: could you imagine that it would bring new people to poker because the entry barrier would be lower and it would be a great pastime e.g. for commuters?

I have an iphone, they are awesome!!!!
I would love to play poker on my mobile, and with my iphone I already can, granted its not for real money but its online and quite good fun.

Bwin also have poker on your mobile but they don't support the iphone yet.

Yep, but sadly they did a completely independent product.

Only if connected to the normal network would it be cool for regulars - both because they can play with their accounts and because it would lure some fish

Why just one? I like my SNGs stacked anyway so I would not lose anything from only seeing one table at a time.

facebook poker has got it already, I don't see any reasons besides security why not do it with cash poker

I certainly would, especially if it were also possible on iPod touch, that'd be awesome since I have to spend 40 mins on the bus every school day (both ways). Although only 1 table isn't exactly profitable, I'd play higher stakes ($50+$5 or something) unless multitabling is possible. Cash games would be even better!

By the way, playing poker on your way to work on your iPhone sounds like the first sign of addiction

wow, it changed my view of college. This application is perfect for boring lectures, although its good only for playing Heads-up . When I withdraw from bwin I accidentally left 10$ in account and now I have 30$ (well it should be 50$, lost vs 3 outer all in). I always wanted to practice Heads-up . And for hour of play it uses only 15KB of traffic (I pay 10MB for 2.5$ on mobile).

bad sides are:
- Every half hours it disconnect's
- you cant write "please rebuy to 10$" in chat. I mostly have to play vs fish with 20BB.
