Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q♣ A♦

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, fold, BB raises to 8 BB, Hero calls 5.5 BB

Flop: (16.5 BB, 2 players) 5♠ 7♦ A♥
BB bets 10.4 BB, Hero calls 10.4 BB

Turn: (37.3 BB, 2 players) K♠
BB bets 23.6 BB, Hero calls 23.6 BB

River: (84.5 BB, 2 players) 3♣
BB bets 53.3 BB, Hero calls 53.3 BB

BB shows 5♣ A♣ (Two Pair, Aces and Fives)
(Pre 31%, Flop 73%, Turn 83%)
Hero mucks Q♣ A♦ (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 69%, Flop 27%, Turn 17%)
BB wins 181.6 BB

I call down here since I feel the BB has a lot of suited aces (A2s-Ajs) he is trippel barreling here with. Should I just fold the river after calling twice because I am never ahead?

From these positions I guess AQo would be a decent 4bet hand pre-flop.
3 barrels are often quite strong especially in 3bet pots. Against some recreational players calling could be just fine but vs nitty(ish) looking probably regular I would fold.

i doubt a normal reg is randomly triple barreling naked weak top pair like A2s.
instead i'd guess that he's most likely polarized between hands that beat you and missed draws, and there is a fair number of gutshots and spades bricked. in any case, we are almost definitely "supposed to" call down this hand, but against a standard NL10 reg i might find a fold.

If you are thinking of folding TPTK on that board, it raises the question why are you calling it preflop. It is standard to call the 3 barrels unless the opponent is especially nitty, in which case again, calling preflop is problematic.

You can very well fold TPTK on some boards and not question your preflop call on it. Who would really 3ba shove A2s here come on. Exploitative fold OTR is all.

Thinking players can easily shove the river with weak top pairs because that board hits their range so well that people will overfold a lot in this spot. I am not folding on that runout, it is just not reasonable.

Thinking players could just check the flop with a weak top pair as it is not worth betting 3 streets and it is not vulnerable.
