Hello, I'm a newbie who wants to learn poker. I just made the blog to get in the get rich or die tryin challenge, so yeah, not much to see here, at least I warned you. English ain't my first language so, again, sorry. Aaaaaaand not much else to say... gonna leave some random memes here, play some poker, and tonight, or tomorrow if I'm too tired/sleepy by the end of the day, I'll try to upload a graphic and some hands (have to learn how to do that), which is what I've seen in the other blogs.

You can't upload/insert images here? wtf... Oh it looks like you can but Im just retarded... oh well

Time for the weekly report:
I played 6631 hands.
I earned 16,42€.
My bankroll went from 56,08€ to 72,5€
It's my first week and my bankroll is 72,5€
My goal is 1.000€ and I started with 56,08€

I played in 2 differents rooms and I dont know how to combine both graphs into one, if thats even possible, so here are both of them. Also I just learned how to mark hands so I can review/post them later and I'll be doing so from now on.

And a couple memes

ALL RIGHT, I took a break to get untilted, came back and played the first hand that made me feel good. It's been a long time since the last time I felt proud of myself, maybe I'm not a worthless piece of shit after all. I won't event post it on the review hand forum so they don't break my bubble, probably they'll tell me it was a bad play and I just got lucky and I'll have to end myself.

I had the Villain marked as an aggro fish. So I 3bet AK, cbet 2/3. The Turn completes flush and straight and I'm like fuck my life what the fuck do I do now? So ye I though ok, he probably wouldn't call 2/3 with a gutshot, he would have raised with doubles or a set with so much draws on the board, the flush is a posibility but I think is more probable that he has an A so I bet a little bit more than 1/2. The R is nice and here comes the master play (in my mind), I though, ok if I bet here and he has anything but a flush hes probably gonna fold so it's better if I just check and he, being an aggro fish, is gonna see it as weakness and go crazy. And the rest is history.
I'm starting to love this game even though today I played 4.794 hands to earn 0'93€ XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

This is it this far, I think I'm starting to get the red line under control which looks like my biggest problem right now, long way to go yet tho

Hello,

Preflop - have to use a size bigger than 3bet is OOP and have to charge for it.

Flop - nothing to say, is still paid by Ax worst second pair and draw.

Turn - complete for flush and for possible str8. bet/fold or x/c

River - bet/fold he still has some hands that call back Ax KT, I still think we can thin value bet.

It's a good hand to see in equilab...

Maybe coming to the river like this.
I took some Ax from the call range as saying that it is agroo...

Hello, nice blog haha I love good memes ^^

Where are you from if it's not private ? (I'm french so not a native english speaker either)

The hand history is correct against a player that really is an aggro fish indeed but it's not the happiest call either.
3bet a little bigger preflop though as you are OOP.

Wow people, nice. Thanks for coming guys. Let's see.
I learned about 3betting bigger OOP, but I dont feel "confortable"/"confident" in 3bet pots yet, I feel kinda lost, don't really know where I stand, if I'm ahead or behind, so I try to keep the pot smaller. But ye, I think is time to start doing that and get out of the comfort zone.

My god you're playing as much hands in a week as me in a month or more probably
In a way it's good that you can grind so much but be sure that you spare enough time to work on your game outside the tables and that you don't multitable too much. If you play less tables you have more time to think about what you do and you remember the spots better so you progress faster.

Is with an incredible volume, to continue with this volume and good study off the tables ... will climb very fast the limits.

I'm following, GG

Really? xDDD I didn't think I was playing that much. I play 4 zoom tables. I tried the regular ones when I started but it was really slow and boring playing the no limit beginner strategy by confident91 there. But that was like playing like a robot, you dont have to think much, so I should probably play less tables/try regular ones again.
Also I have enough bank to go up to nl5 now but I dont think I have the knowledge, skills, confidence o winrate to do it. Im winning 4'5bb/100, really low for what I've read around, and if I go up I guess I'll be a break even player at most.
And I've been studying, watching videos, taking notes... but I don't know, I don't feel like Im applying that stuff correctly on the tables. Dont know if it's because I'm studying but not learning, or whats my problem.
But ye I definetly need to improve right now, no sense in keep playing nl2 when I should be getting better to play in nl5.
Im also thinking in investing the money I won in some coaching, because I cant use it now anyways and I dont mind grinding it up again. What do you guys think?
I didn't care about winning so little until now, I feel like I hit a wall.

Well if you are just grinding like a robot on 4 zoom tables no wonder you don't feel you're making progress anymore...
Progressing is a mix between theory and practice :
-The theoretical part is all that count as learning new things and correcting leaks, so anything outside the tables
-The practical part means applying it to the tables and fixing it as a new set of skill, but for that you have to focus on your game and not play automatically in C-game mode. If you just grind like that you don't take time to learn and to find new challenging spots etc.

Maaaaan you read me like a book... that was exactly my problem... I just had developed the habit of gettin into "autopilot". There were sessions that ended with me thinking: "what the fuck did I just do? I feel like I dont even know how to play this game and Ive been playing and learning for weeks now wtf..."
Its amazing the difference between just playing poker, to playing to try to squeeze every bit of winrate juice in every single hand. Its like playing with your hands versus playin with your brain. Its like two different players.
Im still amazed.
Now I read my last message and it was all so clear there... I just wasn't seeing it. I guess self awareness, emotional intelligence and all that kinda stuff aint my thing.
So thats what Im gonna work on right now, trying to stay "awake". Even today after I read you and realized it, it still kept happening. Also found a method that helps: bitch slapping myself every 10-15 minutes.
Now I feel ready to try out nl5. Gonna wait a couple of days to get this concentration thing under control tho, or at least get better at it.

At the lowest point of the graph I was like: wtf... its just happening again what the fuck is wrong with me? and then I slapped myself a couple of times, and things started to go better. When I reached 6k hands either I slapped too hard and gave me a concussion or I was already sleepy. It's 3 am now and I finished the session like 20 minutes ago. Might be variance too... xDDDDD

Seriously now, this morning I felt bad about all this and didn't know what to do, now I know what is the problem I need to fix. So thank you very much, since I don't think Im gonna need to pay for a coach yet, thanks to you, do you have a paypal acc or someting so I can thank you properly?

Like every skill, no one is magically made for it from the get go, it's something you can think about and train to get better at, no matter how low you start from. For example reading good books like "The mental game of poker" by Jared Tendler or "Insight" by Tasha Eurich can help a lot.
And it's really worth it, at poker and everything else in life !

Thank you very much but I didn't do much for you yet so I would feel bad about taking money for so little. I'm glad if it helped though but be careful not to think everything is gonna go easy from now on, you'll have a lot of work to do with ups and downs on the way. That's the tough and glorious poker path for you.

And of course 6Kh is too little to draw conclusions, it's just noise and variance.

Ye, it was just the first bump in the road, the first boss, the first adversity Hero has to overcome on the long journey to defeat Villain. Still a newbie trying to figure out whats goin on. Thanks for the books, I'm gonna read them. I'll pay you with memes then, hope you like them.
