This year's edition of the WSOP Main Event will be a special one. The most famous poker tournament series of the world is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a whole range of surprises and special events, including a rake free event, Short Deck bracelet, Bracelet Winners Only event and even a Mini Main Event with a buy-in of $1,000.

The WSOP Main Event will be played from July 3 onwards, once again offering three different starting flights as well as late registration up until the start of Day 2. Also, like all the WSOP events this year, the Main Event is going to feature the Big Blind Ante format and an increased starting stack of 60,000 chips.


So how do you get there?

You can either work your way to the top and enter a series of step satellites with buy-ins starting at just 1ct, or you take a short-cut by playing $16.50 daily qualifiers or $109 Sunday qualifiers at 888poker to try and make it to the final stage of the qualification road.

That final stage is reached with the "WSOP 2019 Main Event Package Qualifiers" with a buy-in of $1,050, running every single Sunday at 20:30 GMT until June 16. And of course, you can also buy-in directly into these to try and get your hands on one of the prize packages valued at $12,600 each:
