River bet is some kind of block bet (if it was not an ace on the river, I would likely c/c). Would you choose other line on the river?

Hello,

River: Yes, I would prefer to Check/Call there. Only a better hand will Call your Bet or Raise you there.

Best regards,
Rensu

It is hard to get called by worse hands, likely c/c is better.

It was some kind of block bet. I did not want to face a big bet on the river.

I understand that, but there situations where you have to trust your reads at some point and make hard calldowns, which likely maximize your ev, rather than making blocking bet and then face shove, if you´re still against two pair+
