Hi all,
My name is Chris I am 23, and I have been a poker playing college student for the last 4 years. During this time I have played on fulltilt and pokerstars. I prefer pokerstars because of the number of donkies, and unfortunately until I joined this site and really started to study poker, I too was one of them.
I am still guilty of a few donkey crimes, but as I constantly learn more about both myself and the game, I hope to eliminate these. I play on pokerstars under the alias dville23. The most common game you can find me playig is either the $6.50, or $10 sng hu tourneys, although occasionally I will play the large mtts and sng in the micro range.
My goals for poker are as follows:
-Eliminate more mistakes from my play
-Build bankroll to $500, then $1000.
-Dont let the bad beats and cold decks force me into bad plays and losing money by tilting.
This last one is what has killed me before, If I lose several tournaments in a row and take a hit to my br, then I used to try to move up and recoup my losses by playing out of my means, but the key to fixing a problem is knowing there is one to fix in the first place.
I look forward to continuing to read and learn what I need to do to take my poker playing to the next level.
I will attempt to add a graph to this post, but I am not sure how to do it. If anyone can tell me the best way, it would be most appreciated.
