Hi everyone

I started to play poker with pokerstrategy since february. In february i played a lot, half time studying poker the other half playing. In march I went to college and havent found time to play poker, so I played very little this month.
After one month without playing poker, now I have one week break in college, and im dedicating this week in playing poker. My goal is to unlock the starting capital, or get closer to it.

What Im playing:

With a $109 BR, im playing $1 SNG Turbo at partypoker.

How im playing:

Im currently multabling 4 tables. Since theres a promotion called The Gladiator, im trying to achieve 10 points or higher, playing more than 25 sessions.

Whats the results so far:

Started BR:$105

4/4 - $6 profit, playing 27 sessions. BR:$111
4/5 - $2,86 lost, playing 26 sessions.BR:$109
4/6 - $3 profit, playing 30 sessions.BR:112 (Started to play 5 tables at once)
4/7 - $8 loss, playing 27 sessions. BR:104
4/8 - $5 profit, playing 25 sessions. BR:109
4/9 - $3 loss, playing 30 sessions. BR:106 (Started to play 6 tables at once)
4/10 - $4 loss, playing 55 sessions. BR:102
4/11 - $3 loss, playing 30 sessions. BR 99 X(
4/12 - No computation, but went down like 94 X(
4/13 - No computation, but went up to 105 :)

here is my graph. In the end you can see almost no climbing

Is it normal to loss some money even when you have a relative high volume?

Cya :)

Absolutely. You can have variance-based downsings that last an entire month, much less a small session.

You can also earn them pretty easy by playing cash games. If you play at 4 tables at the same time at 0.05/0.10 or 0.10/0.25 you can earn those points pretty fast.

u can have 30+ BI downswings over realitivly large sample sizes playing the turbos

On a 1000 sample size, variance still exists?

Its been 6 days since im playing about 25 tables a day. Im updating my daily results.

What I noticed is the huge rake that I pay. $30, and almost no rake back :(

Is my results normal? Its almost breakeven here :O

my advice is to move to stars and play the $1.10 or $1.20 SnGs (especially the DON) and learn to mass multitable (10+ tables)

Updated :)

I just found a big leak. I was predetermined to go all in with AK every time. Major mistake

AK when against 1 opponent is THE NUTS preflop against one opponent in the micro limit SnGs

Yes
Very often they will call me with QJ+, AT+, KQ, and 22+

Very often they will call with pocket pair, wich is a flip for me and therefore bad, very bad.

And yet, very often there is multiple callers, mostly on early phase, bad too.

- $4 loss X(

I played A LOT today, tilted a little bit but I think Im loosing too much.

Studied a lot, watched some videos, reviewed my last sessions and see just a minor leaks.

Damm, can this be a downswing?

Im really starting to think to play other game

Lol! I like your attitude

Don't worry about few losing days in row.. that happens too often to change the game because of that. In fact, you'd run out of available games after few months ;)

continue playing 1$ , move to 2$ when u have 150$ or when u feel comfortable :)

You play Double Or Nothing or normal 9 man SnG?
