Calling this hand would have made me second behind the chip leader, but I believe it was the right decision to fold this hand, was it?

yea nice fold imo, this is a silly spot to risk all your chips. NH


Seems like a pretty easy fold. Unless you have reads on him that he does this with 44 etc..

I finished 9th in that tournament and made a profit of $1. That's not a lot of money for 3 hours of hard work, but I definitely gained much experience.

This exactly. Don't be too concerned about your hourly rate, or how much money it is at the beginning of your poker career. The learning curve is what's important.
