Hey all, no info on 2 opponents, they had actually just sat, i thought about folding this but i thought to myself if im not calling with KK what am i calling with here. I hoped they both had AK to be honest but figured one had AA

Should i have folded or was calling correct?

I think making calls like this when i think im beat is what is keeping me at 2nl.

I have moved your hand to our NLHE hand discussion board. There fits it better.
This seems like a standard stack off against 2 random players on NL2 or you have nit stats and/or reads on them.

It is very difficult to fold KK to any preflop action at cash games. There are some spots with very deep stacks where you may flat call 4bets and 5bets, but folding is basically out of question.
If you have solid info on a nit you may fold, I have some folds with KK at the micros but all of them were against 8/6, 10/8, 12/10 guys, that open 4% from UTG and stuff like that and 3bet 3 or 4%.

It's certainly not that that is keeping you at NL2 ^^

Difficult question. I would say you should study everything If you don't know how to get started, I would begin by watching some beginner series and then moving to more advanced videos. On top of having decent basic strategy, mental game is also very important, so work on that :)
