If you fold this what do you call? Thats automatic call. You cannot even think about folding.'
I guess you ask, because he has better hand, but don't be result oriented.

I was sure that is the only decision. But I wanted to know your opinion.

There is also the question of oppening with small pairs 22-55. That is not so obvious.

Well, UTG and MP they wont make you a ton of money. You can go either way, or fold them from UTG and play from MP.
I play zoom and I fold them, because time waste is not worth it. You must play them CO and later, there is no excuse.

May be only from button and blinds. CO can be reraise by button and you have to fold.

Well, it depends of course, if you have some very aggressive players that wil often 3-b, sqz etc you can of course fold,
but otherwise it's now steal and is +EV, 3-bet from BTN is not that scary, you can usually call that. You can fold if you
think that the players on your left are better than you ( and what are you doing on this table in that case), but not at 2NL.

CO have not position. Why call a 3-bet OOP with 33 ? That is painful. You do a contibet on any flop and check fold the turn if you don't hit your set. So 3BB for openning plus 8BB to call his raise plus 12-15BB for your contibet for folding at turn is not a dream.

And there is nothing under NL2. There are always correct players at the table. If there a a too agressive one on the left, I just waiting for a good hand to reraise him. I play tight for serenity.

If you follow, the call20 rule for pairs you can call a 3-bet, you need actualy less for 2NL, people will pay you more often. And is important to open 2.5 from CO, not 3BB. And what you say is valid for every hand, not just small pairs. If you think like that you should play only aces. Understealing and underdefending from steals is where most of the money are lost. If you cant deal with the 2NL players and if you have problem to lose $2-$5 or $10 or so and you play tight because of that, is probably better for you to quit. There is no need to torture yourself

I play two years without success in NL 25 and in NL10 ten years ago.

I just make a come back and try to play on new bases. I have two good books and work to applies what they contain.

I play tight while is more easy. I try to be between 20/18 (on one session). If I'm under I try open the game. But on a large sample I run at 18/13.

Regarding the hand, snap call. Don't be result oriented. BB should be a recreational with that stack and bla bla bla.
The rule of thumb is: you can and should open all PP from any position in 6max. I haven't seen professionals folding PP on unopened pots.
