Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

should I bet small vs a passive player? I'm used to check behind my middle pair vs regular, but this guy didn't look one

CO checks, Hero checks

Turn: (11.4 BB, 2 players) Q♠
Thoughts and questions:

Spoiler

I thought about checking again 'cause I couldn't think in any worst hand that would've called me or better hands that would've folded, but that looked so weak that I decided to bet.
Was that ok?

CO checks, Hero bets 5.6 BB, fold

Spoiler

Hero wins 11 BB

Limp/calls are very difficult spots to assign a range.
Flop board is dry (rainbow), the bigger draw is a OESD. I'm cbetting here, even more against a recreational that calls too much.
Turn adds a flushdraw and fish love flushdraws, so bet while you probably have the best hand.
