PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $3.00+$0.40 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (7 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

MP2 (t1245)
CO (t1420)
Button (t4950)
SB (t1520)
Hero (BB) (t1350)
UTG (t1330)

Hero's M: 30.00

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 7
1 fold, MP1 calls t30, MP2 calls t30, 1 fold, Button calls t30, SB calls t15, Hero checks

Flop: (t150) 5, K, 8 (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 bets t30, 1 fold, Button calls t30, 1 fold, Hero calls t30

Turn: (t240) 6 (3 players)
Hero bets t150, MP1 calls t150, Button calls t150

River: (t690) 2 (3 players)
Hero bets t420, MP1 raises to t2825 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero calls t720 (All-In)

Total pot: t2970

Is the call on the flop such a bad thing? I'm not gonna get much cheaper odds than that to call (I usually never call gutshots!!) I figured I had great implied odds against a King.
