0,25/0,5 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy Elephant 0.67 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BU with J♦, J♥
MP2 folds, MP3 raises to $1,75, CO folds, Hero raises to $5,50, 2 folds, MP3 calls $3,75.

Flop: ($11,75) 5♥, T♥, K♦ (2 players)
MP3 bets $5,87, Hero raises to $17,50, MP3 raises to $54,55 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: $83,80

I decided to raise to protect the JJ, but I'm now wondering if I should be raising at all, or should I just call? If I raise, should I have made it bigger?

I don't like raising the flop. With calling there you can also balance your floats imo

Hello,

Flop: Call and reevaluate turn. You are turning your hand into bluff.

Best regards,
Rensu

much to prefer to call flop donk, you don't want to give him the chance of shipping it on you with a draw and making you fold the best hand.

+1
This is the best arguement why you should just call on the flop and evaluate on the turn.
